anyway went to school early AGAIN. haha the thing about school becoming a second home? i think it's fast becoming true for me. or perhaps even first home. xD lol teacher's day function met up today and accomplished quite a bit. the group's pretty fun and our working relations are great. mmm looking forward to a wonderful and amazing teacher's day!

light up both ends of the first rope and one end of the second rope.
when the first rope finishes burning, it's half an hour.
at that point, light up the other end of the second rope.
when the second rope finishes burning, it's fifteen minutes.
30 + 15 = 45!

there are 3 switches in the first room. directly underneath is a second room with 3 light bulbs. all 3 light bulbs are working. how do you find out which switch corresponds with which light bulb given only 1 chance to move from 1 room to the other?

turn on one of the switches of the light bulb for a while before switching it off. turn on another switch.
now go down and take a look.
the bulb which is lighted obviously corresponds to the switch you've just turned on.
the bulb which feels hot but isn't lighted corresponds to the first switch.
the bulb which is switched off corresponds with the last switch.
