old boys' dinner

woke up late. went to school. played soccer. discussed campfire. haha soccer was exciting. played against j3s. but the highlight of the day gotta be the dinner at night! lol vishwa is really full of nonsense. hahaha super funny recalling his witty comments xD

OH YA! the ri hall got some imba camera thingy? rahul was manning the AV stuff then during the video showing he claimed the plug came out then the screen happened to change display into one that focused on my handphone and my message? lol where got so qiao. plz and the resolution so clear everything can be seen. but it's ok. the guiltless shall not fear. =)

haha the dinner was full of craziness, of being high, of chatting nonsense, of talking, of laming about, of laughing, of joking, of... lots of stuff. AND WE WERE THE LARGEST BATCH I THINK! yea! haha batch of 2006 scouties are the most bonded! and since it's marcus' bdae today we did a lot of funny stuff to him. haha hope it made his day =)

i think the world is ending soon. the skies are so... different. they used to be mundane and boring, peaceful and tranquil. nowadays, they exude an atmosphere of malevolence and chaos. with the skies flashing threats of lightning, and water sprouts in the east, the signs are there.

on the papers, there are almost daily occurrence of natural disasters. weizhi provided some geog knowledge about people pumping water into the ground at certain altitude to create small earthquakes, thus relieving stress in the tectonic plates. this is done to prevent larger earthquakes from happening. so cool!

then someone else said that the world is tending towards equilibrium. as such, as there are droughts in some areas, mother earth seeks to stich up the tears in the fabric of its cloth by sending flood into other areas. but i think that since the world is in already such a worsening state that is exacerbated by man's inconsiderations, the 'repairs' made by mother earth are going to be more drastic and severe, and thus wrought further damage to herself.

sigh. i don't want the world to end. life is so full of potential and fun! how can the world ever end? justina told me that it's part of god's plans when i told her about the world ending. while it's good that we'll be delivered into a better place, i... i dunno. i think there are many lessons pain, hardship, adversity, and many commonly known negativities, can teach, and our time on earth will definitely be filled with them. but i think most importantly, i'll miss all my friends! these few days of meeting up with scouts constantly from day to night has made me nostalgic and more sentimental i guess.

i think the saying 'peng you jiu the hao, yi fu xin the hao' (old friends are better than the new. new clothes are better than the old) really strikes a chord with my heartstrings.
