IHC (II)

ok the previous post was my usual 3rd person perspective thingy which is usually more theoretical and analytical thinking than emotional feeling.

this post shall being out the latter.

!@#$%#$%%^#$ i can't and don't believe how the fact that BB did well got anything to do with the other houses, and how it gives them a reason to be pissed with us. it just doesn't make sense. granted, we did achieve some success in the recent ihcs, so perhaps the sting of defeat momentarily led them to bear ill-feelings towards BB. BUT what gives the other houses the right to assume that we are enjoying their demise? we cheer because we are happy for ourselves. we don't cheer to put down other houses.

everyone would have their share of bumps and obstacles while running in the race towards the championship. when we stumbled and fell, we took it in our stride and strived on. there have been so many instances when we gave way to other houses as we didn't want to spoil the friendly atmosphere of ihcs, but i shall not mention them. every house has their share of injustice before. no one is exceptional to that.

and so what if bb is made of buckle and buckley, of which the latter did not enjoy the same success their counterparts had in the past? what difference does it make now? does the fact that buckley didn't do well in ri automatically condemned us to defeat while in rj?

doesn't make sense to me.

tensions are running high. but i really didn't expect people to feel so strongly against BB. competition is good, but not when it's taken to the extreme.

there was a time when people said that BB couldn't make it.
and there was a time when people said that BB wouldn't make it.
but now we are proving all of them wrong.

in the end, we may not win. we may not even be in top 3. but even then, I WANT TO SAY I'M DAMN PROUD OF BEING A BBIAN AND EVEN MORE PROUD OF BB! and congrats to whoever the winning house is.

TWO MORE DAYS! IT'S GETTING SUPER EXCITING.

we have two aims on tuesday.
one, the aim to win the interhouse championship!
two, which is the more important aim, is to be the house that has the most fun!

i hope we can achieve both. =)

if winning caused friendships to rend apart and ties to sever,
and if victory were to result in the falling out of relationships,
i would rather choose to lose any time.
