disappointed

These few days have been maddening! Sigh, it’s not so much about the schoolwork that has been snowballing, awaiting the timely moment to unleash the torrent upon me. Nor is it so much about the upcoming Handover for both housed and function. And I can’t really blame myself for taking time off to rest, to play, to recharge and to go support matches from time to time right? Alright, maybe I can, but that’s not the point. I guess it’s the unholy alliance between this trinity of forces that’s been keeping up my exhaustion day after day, making me feel stressed and tired. SIAN.

Schoolwork wouldn’t have been a consideration at all if not for the extended deadlines I’ve requested for the various assignments. And Handover! Blame myself for being too idealistic, but I really envision Handover to be one of the most important initiatives we 27ths are carrying out, if not the most important. After all, there’s only so much we can do as one council; a limit to the impact we can have on the school populace. Handover will advance the collective impact the Students’ Council can have on a whole by possibly enabling the 28ths to sustain the good practices established by us, and more importantly, clear the many little obstacles that prevent them from seeing the bigger picture. These little issues, while miniature in magnitude, take a lot of time to resolve on our own, and through the passing down of experiences, we can potentially minimize this ‘time lag’ of sorts, clearing the lens through which they view their vision, mission and goals. Otherwise, it is very possible that the 28ths may get too excited and involved in these little issues, thus causing them to see only the tree, and not the forest.

So! I really have a lot of ideas about Handover! But due to the clash of all our timetables, there isn’t one time the whole housed can meet and discuss effectively. Sigh, must find out how to untangle ourselves from this mess that’s been giving us a colossal headache. At least for Teachers’ Day it’s going to be less stressful and more fun since functions are more flexible and dynamic in nature. In fact, I can’t wait for Friday to come so we can discuss and settle Teachers’ Day! Woohooooooooooooooooo!

And just went to watch the guys and girls play Bball at SBC today. Quite exciting, with the beautiful interplay and exchanges of passes. But also very tiring >< I think I’m wearing myself down by going for so many match supports while having all so much work to settle. Oh well. All choices involve sacrifices anyway.

RANDOM: I really dislike people who can’t deliver their promises.

Disappointing.

Ok enough angsting. Time to start working on summary.
