And what would your choice be?

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less travelled by... Robert Frost

I am learning. Learning to take things easier and rein in my perfectionist tendencies. I realise that aesthetics help, but not as much as one might imagine. Organization helps, but sometimes they can't offer much aid either. Hardwork helps, but sometimes they are overshadowed by raw talent. Modesty helps, but sometimes perceived opinions and judgements are more important.

Like a piece of A4 sheet of paper, once crushed it can never return to its original pristine shape - that's how important impressions are. After all, once you have done something others perceive as wrong, the impression created lasts for a long time to come, until perhaps you are given another chance to redeem yourself. Even then, prejudices from the past have the tendency to emerge from time to time, and it just seems that nothing we do can alter that.

Oh well. On a different note, I have been troubled by the portfolio that I have to do for submission to teachers for recommendations. I am still unsure which university I want to go to. Overseas? Definitely, but only if I could get a scholarship. My siblings will probably want to go overseas too, so I guess being the eldest does entail making some sacrifices. haha but I don't really mind, it just means I have to work even harder to get the mandatory 5As.

UK? US? Both offer their separate merits and demerits. Which coursework? Law? PPE? Sociology? Psychology? I have been reading up on Law, and it suddenly seems like a viable and even interesting option. Hmm guess I better start reading up some books on it to get a better idea.

If you are taking Law now or have some good advice on Law, please share them with me! Much thanks in advance (:
