The Gordion Knot parable is often used to describe how the best solution to a complicated problem may sometimes be the simplest.
Just cut it away.
Of course, such solutions are usually only possible if there have been no previous attachments or historical ties.
Or just leave it.
Sometimes, the status quo is preferred. No change, no consequences.
Where's the end line?
Well, you can't start a race aproper without having the end in mind.
Make up your mind.
But some things are simply meant to be irrational.
And herein lies the quandary - that of reconciling the differences between ideals and reality.
