BMT

PROS
1. Great food. I was always looking forward to breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, the drawback is that such luxury, coupled with unbridled sloth (they don't even allow us to run -.-"), makes me feel like I'm a cattle being fattened up before the eventual slaughter.

2. Great company. Quite fortunate to have Lucas in the same section. For those who may not know, 4 sections make 1 platoon and 4 platoons make 1 company. Hence, for us both to be in the same section is really quite tyco. Found out later that they arranged us according to NRIC (so you can use your birthday as a good estimate of who may be with you in the section). Anyway, the rest of my section/bunkmates were quite cool and fun too :D I think almost everyone was from JC. We spent a lot of time doing retarded stuff since we had a lot of free time. Orientation games, coin carrom, cards, paper volleyball, sing songs, make music etc... haha a lot of the talk seemed to revolve around girls, which provided plenty of amusement.

3. Great lodging. I slept quite well I think. Even had dreams xD

CONS
1. EXTREMELY BORING. We can't run. We can't play sports. We can't do anything that may have the slightest chance of injuring ourselves.

2. EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY BORING. Too much free time given to us. When they have nothing better for us to do, they make us do area cleaning. VERY SIAN.

3. EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY BORING. We had lectures on National Education, Health Talk, SAF Core Values and whatnots. It was a struggle to keep awake. Only interesting talks were the Anti-Drugs and Dental Talk, in my opinion.

Nonetheless, it was a... different experience, I must say. Being bald isn't really cool, just that it's fun laughing at one another. Mmm called some friends during the 1h-admin-time and it was quite interesting. I think I'm so used to work-related and brief phone calls that these long conversations seemed immensely enjoyable :D

Alright, nothing much left to say. Uni apps remain a chore. Things seem to have come to a standstill, and it does bring me some temporary relief. Still trying to borrow the SAT2 PCM books from someone, but to no avail. Still deciding on whether or not to try for PSC. Still lacking a direction for the next 2 years.

Still undecided.
