I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.haha, somehow during the night, my negativity resulted from heavy fatigue was replaced by positivity =D i realised that sometimes, it's really better to have patience, for some things are really not meant to be rushed. focus on the present and make the best of it. ;)
k now to class adventure camp!
class adventure camp was definitely memorable. mmm that morning rushed the programme booklet for invest to mrs chia. haha i think my new attempt was much better than my previous one xD only cost is sleep i guess x.X after that went to prepare for mm with invest comm.
hmm. actually, i think i'll just highlight the drama/interesting parts of camp. li'l details no time to add. still must study for physics..
1. challenge pole
whoa man... it's like the fun-nest, coolest and rawk-est activity! abseiling, rock-climbing and stuff were pretty dull since i've done them before.. thus challenge pole was the highlight! i admit, when i first saw it, i thought to myself that catching and holding on to it would be a piece of cake. k, overconfidence.
after strapping up, i did the platform one first. i went up the ladder confidently. i reached the platform. i stepped on the platform. and braced myself.
and lol, at that moment, i realised what's so hard about it. even all the way to the platform, it's pretty ok for me. only when i was about to jump that the first tendrils of fear creep into my mind, eroding my confidence. but i guess i can be impulsive sometimes.. and it's times like this that i tell myself it's no use wasting time, just do or die nick!
mmm and so i braced myself. took a deep breathe. stretched my arms. swing them to relax the muscles. and JUMPED!
hahahaha it was an awesome feeling! i grabbed onto the pole tightly, but my body was swinging in mid-air xD luckily for me, my grip was firm, so i didn't slip and the instructor was like shouting for me to do pull-ups. lol. did 1 and hold it in chin-up position for like 3 sec i think. and then i let go.
being able to do that, i gained a confidence boost. so i decided to try the challenge pole. climb climb climb. the hardest part about the challenge pole lies in knowing how to balance your body. lol, but the instructor damn bad to me la, i was trying to climb onto the top of the pole without relying on the rope, and there he was shaking the pole at the bottom. ... dots right? =.= lol but actually the instructors were fun and funky =)
haha but managed to do it in the end. quite satisfying. only sad part was when i jumped. grabbed onto the thingy hanging. but lost my hold on it. =S aiya. nvm. the experience was worth it! hahaha and of course, i must thank my classmates who were fervently encouraging and cheering me on. THANKS SAINTS! =)
k. gotta go school soon. maybe i'll get some rest and try to cram as much physics into my fatigued brain before the lecture test! sayo nara~
what i've done [linkin park]
In this farewell,
There is no blood,
There is no alibi,
Cause I’ve drawn regret,
From the truth,
Of a thousands lies,
So let mercy come and wash away…
