i set my alarm for 830 in the morning. i woke up and peeked at my phone through sleep-induced eyes and got a shock when it screamed. zZz so tyco? and that was how i got woken up by my message tone. btw, the phone displayed '1230hrs'. ><
tried to mug physics - work, energy and power. again, comparing maths and physics, it was obvious that the latter was easier to study. mmm but somewhere during the week, i've lost my motivation to study and have found myself stagnating in waste. part of it could be attributed to my late night activities - aka gaming - and the other part could be a mugging burnout that could be traced back to my maths-mugging-marathon. nvm, next week really, really have to be 100% serious. haha if i could be even 75% serious i think i'd have completed mugging long ago.
and i was eating oreo during a break. unknowingly as i ate, crumbs gathered on my shirt. it was only after my third cookie that i realised my shirt was sort of 'decorated' by these wonderful black and white patterns. >< and a sudden thought struck me.
our actions, attitudes and behaviour are so much like this oreo cookie. whenever we do something, we'll definitely leave behind such 'crumbs'. and many times, these residues are intangible and may even leave a lasting impact on others. even when we are conscious and aware of what we are doing, and even after considering the implicit consequences of our actions, we may find that leaving such traces is sometimes inevitable.
an oreo cookie is certainly tasty and nice. i doubt many would disagree with me on that xD but anyway, i think that even when we are enjoying ourselves doing something that we like, we shouldn't neglect the negative externalities that could possibly arise from our behaviour. if everyone could be a little more considerate towards their fellow friends and neighbours, the world would definitely become a better place to live in.
haha ok that's where my train of thoughts end. xD never knew so much could be derived from an oreo cookie. nice, mugging must have mutated my brain somehow.
