In a train chugging along parallel tracks of steel, negotiating mountainous tunnels now and vast plains then or in a plane competing with clouds for altitude or just like a pilgrim trudging along, carrying one’s own solitude while brooding over the milestones and destinations, we must have met one another on a number of occasions, now of course conveniently confined to the inaccessible recesses of memory. We must have called on a number of ports and stopped at a number of wayside inns enroute this voyage of ours - sometimes labeled as life. And yet at some other times we must have found ourselves simply gazing at it with amazement. It is also quite possible that we might have found ourselves simply dumbfounded and puzzled at some turns and crossings along this path that defied all explanations.
The Journey from Creation to Creator
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! i'm finally out of my darkened days! cycling to recce the upcoming combined activity between 01 and 02. hahaha it was really great fun, just talking nonsense with the guys without a care for the world, with careless abandon. even though we were two different cca groups, 01 and 02, our chemistry was such that we were more like one. as one. 02's troop song. so apt and fitting for this occasion. The Journey from Creation to Creator
simple things can bring a smile to your heart. and there were many of such simple things today. the cute and 'flirtatious' stray kitten. the little smiling boy. the road called 'the talk of girls'. the rush of wind. royce and his camwhoring tendencies. arguing over whether there's a difference between 'chio' and 'pretty'.
it has been a beautiful day. i used to love cycling and cycled every day. but one day, my bike became too small for me. and i didn't bother to request for a new one. my nonchalance has cost me the opportunity to continue enjoying the wonders of cycling. i robbed myself of the opportunity to sing the song of my life to the symphony of the wind. i deprived myself of the chance to watch the rustling leaves converse among themselves and admire their serenity. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, no more wind smoothing over my hair! AHHHH! i must get a new bike soon. and revive this lovely little ritual.
haha today has been tiring. yesterday + today = totally exhausted nick. oh ya! i forgot to mention that i'm in HIGHLIGHTS for orientation! hahahaha super excited over orientation. i think this could possibly be my most fun council function yet, previous ones being tdae and invest. =)
on a final noteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, i'm in loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
with the song called
HOW TO SAVE A LIFE by THE FRAY!
thanks mel for sending me the song =)
life is back to the amazing state it has always been.
