the little boy was dozing off in class when he was called by the teacher to answer a question.
"well, what's this fruit?" asked the teacher.
the little girl who was sitting beside him softly whispered the answer to him.
"apples?"
"wrong. for punishment, go back and..."
after class, he asked the little girl why she told him 'apples' when the answer was 'oranges'.
and the girl smiled and replied,
"i think we learn more from making mistakes. you won't mistake an orange for an apple anymore."
hahaha a few more hours to go! it will be quite interesting to find out the practices of other councils. "well, what's this fruit?" asked the teacher.

i think i'm quite lost in econs and history. need time to internalise the info. oh well, guess the coming holidays will be spent holed up in my room trying to strike a chord with these unresponsive subjects.
