the little boy was lying on the grass watching the ants when the little girl asked him.
"why did you smile when that naughty boy poked fun at you?"
the boy stopped watching the ants. he turned to face the sky before replying,
"it's easier to smile than to lie."
he paused for a while before adding,
"and it's easier to lie than to say the truth."

the morning was bad, but it got better as the day wears on.
learning cantonese with classmates was fun =)
