chrysanthemum

alright, this year i have been abstaining from coffee in an attempt to discover other methods of keeping awake during late nights. and thus far, the outstanding victor appears to be chrysanthemum tea! with its sharp and soothing aroma that cuts straight through the haze of sleepiness, accompanied by its sweet and tantalizing flavour that trickles slowly down the throat, it is definitely an excellent substitute for coffee and serves well as a recipe for sleepless nights. in addition, let us not forget the warmth this delightful drink will induce in our mentally-fatigued bodies, providing us with a moment of respite from work as we savour the tranquility that is part and parcel of the whole package, enjoying the moment of peace where nothing else matters except the feel of the hot and refreshing steam rubbing against your cheeks.

haha ok so that's for staying awake. anyway, these few days remain as great as before. it was great watching rjc thrash hwachong 5-1 at the waterpolo match yesterday. it was fun having investiture postmortem at ian's house, watching his dog's amusing antics, and not forgetting the desserts at island creamery. it was exciting discussing the upcoming initiatives like green day. and this is only the beginning.

as for academics, it seems like results will finally be returned to us, starting with history and economics tomorrow. my initial confidence in economics has suffered a huge dent after the propagation of rumours that the highest for essay (b) was 16. and (b) happened to be the essay i wrote for =(

AND PW RESULTS! seems like it will be out tomorrow as well. hahaha pure excitement tinged with anxiety man. if i don't get an A... i will be very, very sad. mm but let's just hope for the best.

oh and my fitness is dying. my body is tired after yesterday's light training. haha have to stop indulging in happy food. and when i'm tired, i make all kinds of mistakes. island creamery = ice cream creamery. haha and many others that i can't rmb any more. it's time to sleep =)

girls are confusing.
the fact that they mean yes when they say no only compounds our confusion.
