life...
is like economic growth.
sometimes, we enjoy booms.
at other times, we suffer recessions.
in other words, it's as if our lives are dictated by the sinusoidal curve of the business cycle with its periodic peaks and troughs.
i think these few days can be comparable to an economic boom. even when there were problems, they were easily managed or diffused through means like cycling, games, work, conversations, etc... it is hard to keep up and sustain this optimism, but i guess that's what make the challenge so worthwhile.
the west bank and israel. the latter built many illegal settlements in their intransigent agenda to expand land and keep hold of the occupied territories. historian calls it 'creeping annexation'. the fatigue that has been less prominent recently can certainly draw parallels to the creeping annexation employed by israel, with my body being the occupied territory and work being the main aggressor.
but i guess it is still manageable. i'm better at managing my time now, although i still suffer from frequent spells of temptation to rest or play games.
cyclical unemployment is the unemployment that follows after a boom in the economy, a result of a pronounced deficient in demand. looking at my increasingly packed schedules, i guess i will most probably experience it soon. haha but with the mantra of life being great in my mind, i hope this positive attitude will ride me through the storm.
sometimes, i really think all the teasing and stuff can get a little irritating. hmmm i know it's all probably done in good nature and in the name of fun, but i really do hope some people don't overdo it. i think jc is the best time to forge friendships, not a time for relationships. haha don't you agree?
oh well. my schedule is insanely filled to the brim... but nvm, i shall still support iw on saturday! haha sometimes it is true that some roles have been understated, undermined and underappreciated.
but all it takes is one more person to understand, and everything will be worth it.
