Jazz Under the Stars was not bad I guess, with the highlights being the parts where I cheer for my oglings, Jiawei and Jiajun, as well as occasional shoutouts to Sean and Ian. The beginning part was kinda sleep-inducing and unexciting but the pace slowly picked up to culminate into a symphony of interest and excitement. Oh and during the process Mandy, Jiening, Kovan and Lynette provided great entertainment so it was nice. But I guess such Jazz performances should be watched with your girlfriend/boyfriend where you can sit side-by-side, soaking in the melodious harmony of the various instruments, softly whispering to one another.
And today was quite unproductive in terms of schoolwork but quite progressive in council work. As usual, the antagonistic relationship between the two entities ensures that I would never be truly satisfied. Accomplishing council work means neglecting schoolwork, and vice versa. An equilibrium could possibly be attained by doing ‘equal’ (if ever work can be qualified) amounts of both, but I’m a person who hates quitting things before they are done. They provoke a deep sense of frustration within me that only amplifies as another half-completed work resonates, the resultant collision inducing a troubled restlessness that persists until these workloads have been lifted off my shoulder. As such, I have since operated on a mantra of ‘one-by-one’, where I only believe in the completion of a piece of work before continuing with another.
Anyway, The Hodge Lodge is superrrrrrrrrrrr nice! It has air-condition installed and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Let us not forget the cosy Movie Theatre located next to the Nintendo Wii and PS2 games station! And coupled with the Kboxing potential, the students' lounge is really amazing =) Sadly, once it's officially launched on Monday, it is certain that it will be filled to the brim EVERY SINGLE DAY >< oh well, gains and loses are complimentary in nature, so we can't really help it.
This week has been rather dull. It isn't boring, but it isn't exciting either. With match supports, council work and concerts to fill every night, it is only inevitable that I haven't really been doing much school work. And to crash every night is not very fun either.
woohoo next week will be even busier than this week. I'm going to abandon studies until after investiture. While it is a noble goal to ensure excellence in both areas, it's much too taxing and tiring.
haha alright i'm too tired to write more.
if i were to count the number of times i used 'tired' in my whole blog, i think it'd be more than the number of exams i've done in my whole life.
and thanks tiddy for the nice leaf clover and encouragements! =)
