Making a study plan is like building infrastructure for a country. Just as having great infrastructure will help in improving economic efficiency within the economy, having a good study plan will help in increasing studying productivity for us. There will definitely be lowered costs (no remedial lessons or negative externalities such as escalating pressure from school, peers and family) and increased quality (in our answer scripts).
Furthermore, by having such a study plan and through it achieve academic proficiency, we are stepping up the pace of competition, speeding up the treadmill as we strive to keep ahead of fellow competitors. Competition engenders progress, so they say, and it will spur on our peers to improve so they will not be rendered obsolete.
In the long run, this study plan may even inadvertently help attract Foreign Direct Investment (scholarships) through the display of economic (academic) excellence.
With so many benefits, I do think everyone should have study plans. We are nearing the end of the peace towards the start of chaos. Just as entering the eye of the hurricane provides us with a moment of refuge from the chaos without, we should exploit the best of this opportunity before it is gone - in the blink of an eye. =)

I would think that most people won't be able to follow through their study plans unless they really have strict discipline and have a fair idea of their own studying abilities. haha and ya, time is what we want most but use worst ><
