How strange, it seems, that we are most relieved when things turn upside down.
And for a moment, you were lost in the wonderment that it had actually happened, and that you were caught in some sort of parallel universe where time actually turns back.
How wonderful that would be! You wonder, what if one day the time turns back one hour for every single person, organism and thingamajig that exists, and that every single person knows what would transpire in the next hour? What would you have done differently, given such an opportunity?
For some, that one hour wouldn't make much of a difference. They would still be doing the same things that they had done previously. But for others, it could mean the world. For the guy who was 25 minutes too late, it would have made a difference. For the couple who had just argued and felt bad after, it would have made a difference. For the friend who had just broken a gift her best friend had used up all her savings to buy for her, it would have made a difference.
Yours eyes blinked for a second, and your thoughts dissipated. You realized it was wrong. The clock was wrong. You were wrong.
