music

Life ends when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing, love ends when you stop caring, friendship ends when you stop sharing.
i'm quite bored now. dun feel like sleeping yet. so i shall write about something that randomly popped into my mind - music.

have you realised how powerful a role music plays in our lives nowadays? it's like an unseen puppeteer, staying behind the scenes, manipulating these threads that are attached to us, controlling our thoughts and actions. its widespread influence is both tangible and intangible; at times domineering, but sometimes meek;

in many ways, music has ensnared us. our emotions are wired by its fluctuating melodies. it can drive us to a high or make feel melancholic. we seek solace in its soothing lull when the oppressive silence closes in on us, when emptiness threatens to overwhelm, when loneliness is too much for us to handle.

music has woven herself into our lives in such a delicate and intricate fashion that we don't even notice its influence and hold it has over us. by becoming overly dependent on this convenient blanket of comfort against the harsh cold of reality, our will is sapped, weakened, enfeebled.

music and man, the former has become quintessential of the latter.
creator and creation, the lines of distinction have become smudged, blotted, blurred.

i don't really like loud voices.
its' a leap of faith. it's a matter of whether or not you're willing to risk everything for that one shot of well, love!
wise words from joan.
