girls

haha it's been a long, long, long, time since i've talked about relationships and today's conversation has led me to gain some insights in the perspectives of girls.

and so it started off with traits they would look out for in guys, and obviously i can't provide any desirable traits since guys are just not my cup of tea. haha so yes i get to list out the characteristics i would look out for in girls.

hmm somehow the first thing that came to my mind is 'nice'. nice is sort of vague though, since it can refer to kind-heartedness, good temperament, or perhaps amiable disposition among a host of other similar niceties. and i dun think there are really that many 'nice' girls around - after all, everyone is, in some ways, nice, so it's sometimes hard to distinguish between genuinely nice, or just being specifically nice to some people, but not everyone.

next trait that came to mind was ability to communicate and understand. simply said, if you can't even communicate well with your girlfriend, or understand her moods, actions, behaviour, the relationship won't be a happy or sustainable one.

haha the list goes on, with superficial traits such as having some form of aesthetics (art, dance, sing, music), to being sporty, or to being cute, as well as qualities like being enthusiastic and fun-loving. but i guess these characteristics aren't definitive - they simply serve as a compass, pointing you towards the direction where a girl matching your interests may be found. in the end, what matters most is compatibility, and this can only be forged through understanding and communication as well as putting in hardwork to maintain the relationship.

oh well, this is all so complex. i'm too tired to write more. i guess it's time to go start on homework.
