housed!

had a meeting yesterday at swensens where we continued shihua_surprise_v2! haha ok la it wasn't much, just a specially-designed coupon stating that she gets a free treat from us =)

anyway, yesterday's meeting was quite productive and we covered all the major issues as well as assigned the ics for upcoming projects and initiatives. the release of council campaigners marks a nostalgic occasion, and it certainly serves as a timely reminder that our term as the 27ths is coming to an end. looking back, it has been amazing how far we as a housed have come, struggling through the hectic times together, storing countless happy memories, and in the end, forging closer ties that will hopefully become stronger after the end of term. working with these fantastic bunch of beans so closely has made me learn to appreciate them more and really, i doubt i can ever find a better combination of friends to work with for the house. =)

finished reading the lord of the flies. it's quite disturbing how little kids can turn into menacing savages in the absence of authority, law and order, and how man is inherently evil. the effect civilization has on man can never be overstated and, as singaporeans, we should really learn to appreciate the tranquility and security we are enjoying in this humble abode.

haha and i can't wait to find out which campaign group i'm mentoring! super excitinggggg
